I Stood Up the Venerable Master for a Thousand Years. Can I Still Make It Up to Him?

I died.

Then I came back to life.

On instinct, I opened the Cultivation Forum to ask for help:

[Is there any way to make it up to my master after standing him up for a thousand years?]

The thread quickly grew to nearly a hundred replies, but people were either asking questions or watching for fun. Not a single comment was useful.

I was very upset.

That’s a lie.

I’m going back to my sect to cultivate hard and get to the Upper Realm as soon as possible, so I can find my master.

I kept the fox because my master taught me to always be kind.

But this fox is such a handful. It’s a little proud, a little fragile, and a little... fond of me.

I might as well keep it.

Why does this little fox look more and more like my master the longer I look at it?!

Content warnings:

1. The shou is very pampered and hopeless at everyday tasks. The gong takes care of him in daily life, while the shou helps the gong with cultivation.

2. The gong fell for the shou early on, takes exceptionally good care of him, and will keep doing so.

(I personally think the couple take good care of each other, since the shou does plenty for the gong, too.)

If you think the gong or shou is a pushover, please leave quietly. Don’t comment insulting my characters. I write for love, so my characters, gong and shou alike, can be emperors.

3. No extreme factional fans.

4. This is the author’s first time writing forum-style posts, so it might not be very good.
