[Murasaki Shikibu X Sei Shonagon] I Don't Like You

A modern-world AU featuring classical characters

Complicated feelings

I say I don't like you,

but what does “not liking you” even mean?

The currents stirring beneath those waves,

how could a single sentence explain them?

A flight of fancy, don't take it too seriously.

(Inspired by Murasaki Shikibu's complaints and criticisms of Sei Shonagon, haha.)

The characters' personalities are based on the first-person works The Diary of Murasaki Shikibu and The Pillow Book, and I've tried to keep them in character.

The author isn't a fan of anyone.

(If you'd like a story purely about affection and devotion, try Sei Shonagon x Teishi / The Pillow Book: Only the Wind Knows.)
