A Sword on the Wind

Yun Ci picked up a sword.

The sword was named Xianyun. It was a terrible name, and it brought him bad luck.

Xianyun awakened a sword spirit and chose him as its master. The man and sword sat together and talked for hours.

Xianyun: I have a dream.

Yun Ci: What a coincidence. So do I.

Xianyun: I want to become the greatest sword in the world!

Yun Ci: “?”

Xianyun: Help me, or I’ll kill you.

Yun Ci: “...”

Xianyun gave him an idea: find someone to cultivate together with, and he’d quickly become the world’s greatest sword cultivator.

“If you become the greatest sword cultivator in the world, I’ll be your sword. That way, I’ll become the greatest sword in the world.”

So, with the sword point pressed against his back, Yun Ci tearfully took a corpse’s hand. “Dear Corpse Brother, hello. Would you cultivate with me?”

Xie Suian, who had just opened his eyes: “?”

Among the many immortal sects was a genius who had been dead for years. His name was Song Yufeng.

He was ill-tempered and recklessly arrogant. Anyone who ran into him turned around and left, grumbling all the way. Even after he died, people still shuddered at the mention of his name.

Song Yufeng had offended more people than there were stars in the sky. Xie Suian, second young master of the Xie family of Xishan, was one of them.

Their relationship could hardly be called cordial. It was more like oil and water, swords drawn, sworn enemies, locked in a fight to the death.

Everyone believed that even if Xie Suian died and became a ghost, he would claw his way out of the ground to take revenge on Song Yufeng.

Then one day, Xie Suian really did climb out of the ground, and he really did find Song Yufeng.

But...

The cultivation sects: Aren’t you two standing a little too close? Why are you holding him?

And didn’t you say no one else was allowed to touch your sword? Song Yufeng is using it to chop down a tree. Are you blind?!!
