The Wayne Family's Doctor of the Highest Rank

This is a story about a doctor who, after finishing his work, drops into Gotham and is recommended by Mei Li to take a job as the Wayne family's doctor.

Hello, I'm in Gotham, recommended for the job. I just finished the final chapter, and know absolutely nothing.

Dr. Roman, who had just woken up, was completely bewildered.

What?

A private doctor?! Are you talking about me?!

Oh, Mei Li recommended me for the job? I understand. I'll do my best!

And she left me an explanatory letter, too. Oh, thanks. Let me have a look...

Mm, mm

Mei Li says that being a private doctor means it's a high-risk job where, if you can't cure some rich guy, you have to be buried with him.

Hahaha, how could that be? It's not ancient times

Three months later

What?! You mean Mr. Wayne got gravely injured doing extreme sports again?!

What?! You mean the young masters got into trouble while tracking down a criminal again, were kidnapped by a lunatic, passed out, or got into a fight?!

Another day full of surprises, Dr. Roman.

This is a story about a doctor who drops into Gotham, gets help from Mei Li (probably) finding a job and starting a new life, and tries to use his meager nerd knowledge and Mei Li's insider information to deal with the gifted people of Gotham City and his employer's family, who keep getting hurt, while avoiding the terrifying fate said to await a rich man's private doctor who fails to cure his patient: being dragged off to be buried alongside them.

Keep fighting, Dr. Roman. A plain, ordinary new life is right in front of you. Probably.

This is just a rough blurb for now. I'll revise it later. I'm still working on the story. On a hectic New Year's Eve, I got completely overwhelmed, so I'm posting this idea I started working on back in August. Also, thanks to my friend @Nanshan Chun for enthusiastically chatting about it with me.

I want to write about the behind-the-scenes mastermind trope, the doctor's chaotic "ordinary" daily life, and his chaotic "old friends," and most importantly

Waaah, I can't accept a world where the doctor never existed! Aaaah, I want to create a world where the mushrooms don't get pruned

Theme: I can't accept a world where the doctor never existed, aaaah!
