Hey, Are You Really Going to Fight the Boss?

The uncanny run rampant, and the world falls into disorder.

The place where Yun Lin lives has been taken over.

He knocks on a door. "Hello, may I ask what species you are?"

Teacher Lu Hengyu: "..."

Lu Hengyu: "I'm human."

Yun Lin: "What's a human?"

Lu Hengyu: "Aren't you human?"

Yun Lin: "No, I'm not."

"..."

Lu Hengyu: Oh, he's an idiot.

It's dangerous for an idiot to be wandering around alone, so Lu Hengyu takes Yun Lin in and teaches him to read and write, as well as how humans live.

The conflict between humans and the uncanny grows more intense, and the fighting reaches a fever pitch.

One day, dark clouds engulf the city, and black fog rolls in.

Lu Hengyu takes off his glasses, puts on his uniform, and leaps into the air. From the highest point in the city, he punches a hole through the darkness.

Then he turns back and smiles sheepishly at Yun Lin. "Teaching is just my day job. My real identity is senior advisor to the Uncanny Combat Bureau. My powers are so great that they can cause widespread damage, so they usually don't let me act without good reason. I've been conserving my strength, waiting for the big boss to appear."

Yun Lin: "Oh. That's too many words. I don't understand."

Lu Hengyu sums it up: "The Bureau recently detected the big boss's presence. It's appeared, and now I must fulfill my mission."

Yun Lin: "Oh."

Uncanny Combat Bureau: "Boss, we've tracked the BOSS's presence to your neighborhood."

Lu Hengyu: "Good. Prepare to move out. Give me the location!"

The Bureau: "It's in your residential complex."

Lu Hengyu: "Understood. Keep tracking!"

The Bureau: "It's in your building."

Lu Hengyu: "Move out!"

The Bureau: "It's on your floor."

Lu Hengyu: "??"

The Bureau: "B-Boss, it's in your home."

"???"

"It's... right behind you."

Lu Hengyu slowly turns around.

Black fog blooms around Yun Lin. His eyes are nothing but white, and he tilts his head with a smile. "Human, do you really want to fight the BOSS?"

The relationship is an attack/receive pairing, with Yun Lin as the top.
