-[The original blurb is under the blurb for the older sister story next door. The content is unchanged, but the narration has been revised and the farming setting fleshed out.]
: (A heads-up: this is the real Warring States period.)
Matsudaira Tei, who had been raised in the countryside ever since she fell ill as a child, awakened a Stardew Valley golden finger and settled into life as a farmer in the Warring States period.
Her father was a daimyo, and her vault was full from the start. Every day, after tending the farm, Matsudaira Tei eagerly headed down into the mines.
The mine was called the Cannibal Demon Cave. It was a little scary, sure, but all she saw were pixel monsters, so it wasn't a big deal.
After successfully clearing level 100 and killing 999 evil cannibal demons, Schrodinger's grandpa made a divine appearance.
She received a letter telling her to wait by the farm gate the next day for a surprise.
Matsudaira Tei tossed the letter aside. The next day, she found out it was the worst luck day of the year, so she leisurely strolled to the farm gate, plucking a peach from a tree along the way.
Sure enough, a curly-haired little boy was standing at the farm gate.
Matsudaira Tei casually gave him the peach. The little boy stuffed it into his mouth, and hearts started popping up over his head.
[Tsugikuni Yoriichi %%&*... mod" has joined the farm]
Huh, a new character?
Why is there a mod after his name? Is that a glitch? Hey, that's gibberish!
On his first day on the farm, the new character bankrupted Matsudaira Tei's entire storehouse.
[Yoriichi looks very hungry]
Matsudaira Tei was horrified. She called for help in the middle of the night and asked her father to send over some food.
What was that rotten grandpa thinking, sending over a bottomless pit!?
By the time Yoriichi had eaten his fill and hearts began popping up over his head, it was already the next day.
Matsudaira Tei got up promptly at six and stood outside her house, watching Yoriichi finish all the farm chores before briskly heading to the Cannibal Demon Mine.
He was even carrying the Galaxy Sword she'd worked so hard to get. Wait, how did this guy steal her sword!?
[Congratulations, player, on reaching level 200 of the mine]
[Congratulations, player, on reaching level 300 of the mine]
Matsudaira Tei stared blankly, then in shock, then with wild joy.
What bottomless pit? This was Yoriichi, the ultimate farm-carrying cheat, sent by her wonderful grandpa!
-
In the second year of her marriage to Yoriichi, he told her he'd found a job, but it was a night shift.
Matsudaira Tei, who had already achieved perfection in Stardew Valley, was very pleased. Her husband knew to earn some extra money to help with the household expenses.
"Keep up the good work and earn enough to get our eldest son a wife."
Yoriichi nodded eagerly.
Two years later, Yoriichi brought home a man who looked almost exactly like him, but wore a dazed expression.
He said this was his older brother, and that he wanted to go to work with him the next day.
Matsudaira Tei was in the middle of lecturing their eldest son. When she saw the family crest on the older brother's armor, her wrist trembled, and her slap landed on her son's bottom.
The eldest son immediately wailed as if the heavens were falling.
Matsudaira Tei was panicking inside. What the hell? Why had Yoriichi brought home the neighbor? Judging by the looks of him, he was someone important, too.
Matsudaira Tei panicked even more when she learned the older brother was the daimyo next door.
Keeping the man on the farm, Matsudaira Tei handed her studious brother-in-law a copy of The Complete Guide to Breathing Techniques, then pointed to the Cannibal Demon Mine and said gently, "Big Brother, once you've cleared level 999 of the mine, your training will be complete."
Her brother-in-law believed her completely. He took the book home and practiced swinging his sword every day, visiting the farm now and then to descend into the mine. He was determined to defeat Yoriichi.
Matsudaira Tei pulled her son close and said to her husband in a hollow voice, "You should make Ubuyashiki bow down and thank me."
If she let this powerhouse join the Demon Slayer Corps, the Corps would be out of business.
She was going to great lengths to keep a stable, well-funded organization that was willing to take Yoriichi in from going under.

1. Content warning: childbirth, with special items involved.
2. The female lead is a farmer, and her eldest son is Hideyoshi reincarnated into his body. Hideyoshi's canon wife is Kita no Mandokoro. There may or may not be a second child.
3. Canon pairings are broken up. The female lead's father is Matsudaira Kiyoyasu, and her nephew is Ieyasu. The story contains a moderate or greater amount of Japanese Warring States period customs and daily life.
4. Junimos are a handy way to avoid grinding in Stardew Valley. After you build a Junimo Hut, Junimos help with the farm work. This includes my own Stardew Valley setting. The story starts when the characters are little kids, and there will be a progress bar.
5. The old blurb is under the older sister story next door. The content won't change, just the point where the story begins has been moved back to childhood, and the farming setting has been filled out. It includes swords, and it's going to be a long, long story (heart).
Adorable Yoriichi x farmer with a blade of grass in her mouth
The blurb for my next story, my own ideal Tsugikuni family-building story: I Turned Out to Be a Tsugikuni Parent
-[Hokuriku Road arc]
To get the perfect ending on my second run through life, I worked hard from childhood, studying literature and martial arts alike. At fifteen, I married a wife as beautiful as a celestial maiden. Then I inherited the family business and was just about to secretly kick the Ashikaga family out of the way and take their place. Ahem, I mean, start a rebellion.
When I was eighteen, my wife became pregnant.
She gave birth to twins. The servants stood nearby, tense with worry, saying that the younger son had a flame-like mark on his forehead, and that he was silent from birth, likely ill-fated and disabled.
I froze.
I saw the mark on my newborn son's forehead.
Wait, what do you mean my son has a birthmark?!
I'm not even named Tsugikuni
"My lord! The shogun has bestowed the Tsugikuni surname upon you. This is wonderful news!"
Me: "..."
Me: Damn it!
-
Uesugi Hisakatsu, now using the Tsugikuni surname, is currently the father of the Sun and Moon twins, a notorious wife-beater, Warring States' number one madman, mentally twisted patient, man who can't recognize a top-tier SSR, typical East Asian deadbeat father, source of family discord, number one believer in superstition, and a man who combines so many flaws that people would love to kill him...
Hisakatsu: "..."
He wiped his face and decided he needed to turn over a new leaf. No, what the hell, why should he? He'd never done any of that stuff!
These are two SSRs of the highest possible tier!
I'm coming to unite the land, hahahahahahaha!
-
Bonus scene:
From childhood, Michikatsu was taught by his father that he would become the shogun one day, and that the entire land would belong to him. Yoriichi would be his most loyal vassal.
He worked hard toward that goal.
But why did his father hand over the headship of the family when he was only thirty-four?!
What do you mean he has to conquer the land himself! QAQ
His father is in the prime of his life, so why has he decided to lie flat!!
Bonus scene 2:
While Yoriichi was away from home, he encountered a demon and used his Breathing Swordsmanship. The Demon Slayer Corps sent people to visit him repeatedly, and after much hesitation, Yoriichi finally went to the Corps.
Yoriichi was a kind child. He didn't want demons to slaughter the people living in the region, either, so he generously taught the Corps members his Breathing Swordsmanship.
When his old man came to drag him home, he discovered the existence of the Demon Slayer Corps.
The old man applied to join.
Yoriichi couldn't find the option to refuse.
The old man was kicked out of the group chat for lacking talent.
The old man was furious.
Michikatsu applied to join (Note: recommended by his father).
Michikatsu successfully learned Moon Breathing.
One night, the twins encountered the Demon King while out and about.
The Demon King: dead.

An alternate Demon Slayer timeline, set around 1460 or later. Some details will be changed. It is still historical fiction, but it will take liberties with both history and the original work.
