Consort De's Daily Life Raising Kids (Qing Dynasty)

Everyone, this upcoming novel has a new premise. I was a little stuck on the previous one, so I'll think it over some more and probably write it later. For now, this will be my next project: a Qing Dynasty transmigration story!

Blurb

On her third day after transmigrating to the Kangxi era of the Great Qing, Rong Ning still couldn't accept that someone who had been single for over twenty years had given birth to a baby overnight.

And that baby was none other than the famous Yongzheng Emperor, Yinzhen.

Rong Ning: So I'm that notoriously biased mother who refused to become Empress Dowager after her son took the throne, then died alongside Kangxi less than a year later? What a wicked old woman.

Thanks. I'm kind of numb.

Looking at her newborn son in the cradle beside her, Rong Ning let out a long sigh.

What else can I do? Give little Fourth a healing childhood!

After the Great Qing's Emperor Shizong Xian, Aisin Gioro Yinzhen, suddenly died in the thirteenth year of the Yongzheng reign, he opened his eyes again to find himself back at the moment of his birth. In a daze, he looked at his mother, who had nearly bled to death giving birth to him and had only just woken after two days unconscious. She seemed both unfamiliar and familiar.

Familiar, because his mother looked just as she had in his previous life, only younger.

Unfamiliar, because ever since he could remember, he had never seen her look at him with such affection.

It was as if he were her beloved son, not a pawn she could cast aside at any moment to pave the way for his fourteenth younger brother.

So, from the very beginning, his mother had loved him too.

Then Yinzhen realized that something about this life seemed off.

Although he was still taken to be raised under the care of Noble Consort Tong shortly after his birth, before long his mother somehow managed to bring him back. From that moment on, the life he remembered quietly changed.

His mother cherished him from childhood onward. His sixth younger brother and twelfth younger sister, who had died young in his previous life, both survived. His fourteenth younger brother, who had once followed Yinsi and opposed his own elder brother, became his shadow instead, constantly talking about him.

Yinzhen thought that if this was a dream, he hoped he would never wake up.

Content warnings:

1. A Qing Dynasty child-rearing story, full of lively family gatherings and joyful reunions. You siblings should focus on living happily together, because that matters more than anything.

2. Eighth Prince won't be a villain either. It isn't mentioned in the blurb, but those two brothers who are always at odds are both reborn. I've wanted to write this kind of dramatic rivalry for ages, hehe.

3. A slow-paced, everyday-life story, all about happiness!

Theme: Tomorrow will be better.
