The protagonist comes from the chaotic, filthy Lower City and is one of the new students specially admitted to an aristocratic academy.
At this academy, where rank and class rule, and hostility and bullying toward commoners are everywhere, he stays out of sight so he can graduate without trouble and earn the redemption voucher that will let him escape the Lower City.
But after falling into the water, the protagonist briefly loses consciousness. Another soul takes the chance to suppress his mind and seize control of his body.
It is a player who has bound a Harem System, with the goal of winning the favor of multiple targets.
In the days that follow, the player washes away the potion the protagonist has always used to conceal his appearance. With a fresh, rebellious attitude, the player wins over one after another of the academy's top prodigies: people who are completely inhuman and more than a little mentally unstable, but whom the System rates among the finest talents in the world.
They include a pair of noble fiancés who, because they are sexually incompatible, both want the other to give in. They make the player a part of their play.
A pampered, attention-starved puppy who loves bullying others for fun, comes from a prominent family, is psychologically twisted, and suffers from uncontrollable crying.
A dark, scheming personality split between two selves, with the dominant personality and the secondary one at each other's throats. Whatever the dominant personality loves, the secondary personality is sure to destroy.
An upperclassman and top student with a cuckold fetish, who loves sharing every intimate detail of his time with his lover with his friends, doesn't mind at all when his lover has other ambiguous relationships, and actually looks forward to being cheated on.
A playboy heir to a financial conglomerate who has been around the block without ever getting attached, and gleefully watches his harem turn into a den of vipers, with all kinds of beauties throwing away their dignity to fight each other to the death over him.
A student council president and psychological control freak who loves enslaving people's minds and capturing their souls, turning lovers into pets without self-respect who do nothing but wait for rewards and affection.

After winning enough favor, the player leaves. The protagonist regains control of his body, but the targets quickly realize that he isn't the person they knew and loved.
He is a rose grown from the mud, decadent and deceitful. His deep, vivid petals overlap in layers, each one weighing the price of an exchange. As long as he can climb higher, he is willing to lie on an auction block and let people bid on him. He's no different from the other wretched people of the Lower City.
They want that innocent, kind, and lovable soul to return to this body.
So they frame him for offending the nobility and strip him of his freedom. These rotten heirs from all-powerful families use every means at their disposal on him. When nothing works, one of them, driven mad, even tries to destroy his soul.
As his consciousness sinks into darkness, the protagonist hears a voice beside his ear:
[Turning back time]
He returns to the moment the player left.
A voice claiming to be an inspector from the Transmigration Bureau tells him that the player and the player's System illegally occupied his body and have received their due punishment.
As compensation, he will gain the ability to rewind time with unlimited retries, allowing him to save a life that the player had pushed off its original course, surrounded by vicious dogs and wolves and plunged into hell mode.
3.
After rewinding time N times, the protagonist looks at the noble young masters who once did everything they could to bring the player back, but now cling obsessively to him, and discovers that their favorability scores carry over from one loop to the next.
