Insect Queen, but Make Her a Woman

After transmigrating to an interstellar world and ending up in a remote star system, Fu Fu opens her eyes to see a group of winged Zerg kneeling in unison.

"The Zerg Mother has been asleep for three hundred years! You must be the new Zerg Mother we've been searching for!"

Fresh out of her eggshell and still terrified, Fu Fu can't help thinking of all the novels she's read. "Wait, you've got the wrong person! Isn't the Zerg Mother supposed to be a man?"

The Zerg at the head of the group gives her a strange look. "Mother, what are you talking about? How could the mother of the Zerg be a man?"

(The blurb isn't finished yet! I'll write more later. I'm posting it now to get some advance interest.)

Content warnings:

1. Zerg, but mostly human or humanoid forms. The author is afraid of bugs too, so there won't be detailed descriptions or anything too grotesque.

2. A story written just to indulge a kink. I wanted to see the male lead call the female lead "Mother," so this is a passion project based on my own tastes. I'm not a writer of strong female leads. I'm usually a harem-romance specialist, and I wrote this mostly because I'm tired of seeing Zerg Mothers who are men.

3. All Zerg are chaste, as are the humans, men, and women (referring to the female side characters). Just take it to mean that all the Zerg are virgins waiting for the Zerg Mother's favor. They reproduce through parthenogenesis.

4. The Zerg are based on my own headcanon. The author has the final say on all explanations.

5. The female lead is adored by everyone, so not only do the male Zerg love her, the female Zerg love her even more.

6. Lots of extreme, twisted depictions of courtship, including but not limited to: male Zerg fighting each other and seducing the female lead to compete for a night with her; female Zerg hoping to earn her favor and bear her children; killing rivals; and hoping she'll eat them after they spend the night together.
