No One Will Come [Narcissus]

The famous painter Shi Nian died.

She had grown up poor. Her father was abusive, ran off after taking out loan-shark debts, and she had to juggle school and work from a young age to pay them off.

Just when she had finally made it through the college entrance exams, she was hit by a car, breaking her arms and legs. In the end, she fell into severe depression and drowned herself in a river.

Only after her death did she learn that she was actually a designated cannon-fodder villain in a novel.

Every part of her character setup was designed to make her starved for love, so that when she became disabled in both legs, she would fall obsessively in love with the female lead who treated her injuries, then resort to any means to win the female lead's love and get herself killed.

Unfortunately, Shi Nian didn't even live long enough to meet the female lead.

If she could live again, she would change her ending for sure.

Why should all the suffering she endured exist just to make someone else's love story possible?

She wanted to live.

Shi Nian was reborn.

She looked at herself in the distance, dressed in a school uniform, covered in bruises, and wary of everything, and decided to raise her properly this time.

She changed her name to Shi Yuan and hid her face.

This time, she wouldn't let Shi Nian repeat her old mistakes. She would give her all the love she needed and make sure she didn't fall for the female lead.

Shi Yuan appeared in Shi Nian's life as her benefactor. She dealt with the debt collectors, brought Shi Nian home to live with her, and indulged her in every way.

Before long, the girl who had once been wary and fierce had become clingy, calling her "Big Sis" at every turn.

Shi Yuan simply didn't notice Shi Nian's gaze growing darker and more twisted, or that the girl's sketchbook was filled with pictures of her from every angle.

The accident that happened when she was eighteen still came to pass.

Shi Yuan was in a car accident while protecting Shi Nian, leaving her unable to walk.

When the female lead appeared, she realized sadly that she might not be able to stop the plot.

But the girl who had always been sweet and obedient pulled her into her arms and said softly, "Don't be afraid, Big Sis. I won't let anything happen to you."

"But, Big Sis..."

The girl's eyes were pitch-black. "You can only look at me."
