Agnes had only recently retired as an award-winning competitive diver when a will summoned her back to Gotham.
: Thanks for asking. I'm in Gotham, just landed, and someone already smashed the inheritance I just received.
Her adoptive mother has passed away, leaving her one final inheritance: a fast-food restaurant that's doing worse and worse, on the verge of bankruptcy, with its mortgage still unpaid. Oh, and because it was smashed up, it now has a roof and walls that leak from every side.
That's Gotham for you.
As everyone knows, it takes a few special skills to make it big in Gotham.
And as a young diver who has won more awards than she can count, Agnes has no shortage of special skills.
Since the restaurant is her adoptive mother's legacy, she'll use her professional skills to keep it running and turn the little diner into a thriving business!
As the saying goes, people who live by the mountains eat from the mountains, and people who live by the sea eat from the sea. Agnes decides to use her professional skills to catch seafood in Gotham Bay and make freshly killed ingredients the restaurant's selling point. Running this diner should be no problem...
Right?
On her first day of diving, she finds a dead body underwater.
On her second day of diving, she finds a poison-gas bomb underwater.
On her third day of diving, she finds a large cache of weapons and ammunition dumped underwater.
On her fourth day of diving, she finds a mermaid... a mer-Batman?!!
What, are you a Gotham specialty too?
Nervously, she drags the infamous mer-Batman ashore and wonders whether she should call the police.
To her surprise, when she turns around, the huge black figure has disappeared. The Bat-coin left by the windowsill is the only sign that he was ever there.
Oh, well.
And so, while outwitting Gotham's specialty fish, Agnes keeps her little restaurant running.
But something seems to have changed.
By day, handsome customers show up at the restaurant much more often. At night, she often has to feed a whole group of starving vigilantes at once. Handsome men and vigilantes: are those Gotham specialties too?
It isn't until she sees Batman leading the vigilantes into battle that Agnes finally understands:
So this is Batman's way of repaying her!
Who says running a business in Gotham is a bad idea? Gotham is great! (Not really.)
*
Agnes has always felt that God loves playing jokes on her.
He always slaps her, then gives her a sweet to make up for it.
He lets her restaurant get smashed, then rewards her with a handsome man who rescues a beauty.
He lets the mafia give her trouble, then rewards her with another handsome man.
He lets the market unfairly target her restaurant, then rewards her with yet another handsome man--
Wait, why are all the rewards handsome men? That's not right!
Does Gotham have a quota for handsome men and beautiful women or something? How can so many eye-catching people show up all at once!
But when a real crisis arrives and disaster strikes her seemingly insignificant diner...
Agnes: You don't actually think all my troubles are solved by tall, muscular men, do you? ^^
A crossover with Dave the Diver. The heroine fishes at night and runs her restaurant by day. Slow-burn, lighthearted daily life + food.
A multiple-love-interest story. The male leads haven't been decided yet, but they'll probably be the next generation of superheroes.

It's a very delicious article. I've been looking forward to it every day😣If it doesn't work every day, it can be updated every day. Goddess [Hold the Thigh] is very, very, very beautiful🙏But now the number of words is too small and I can't even recommend the book🥺Looking forward to the update of the Goddess [Hold the Thigh]
It's a very interesting article, but it's too short. It's tied up so quickly, haha. Good luck to the author.
I like to read some DC food articles... Come on, teacher!
