The Red Luan Tribulation

Yunqing, the daughter of the Su family, has loved poetry and books since childhood and is especially skilled at painting. She often visits the city’s bookstores in search of books. One day, Yunqing meets Dugu Wang, a teacher at the academy, in a bookshop.

Dugu Wang admires Yunqing’s eloquence and learning, and the two grow closer over time. Dugu Wang intends to find another residence but is reluctant to leave his current home. Knowing that Yunqing is a gifted painter, he asks her to paint the entire old residence.

As it happens, Yunqing is worrying about how to get enough silver to repay the Xu family and break off her engagement, so she gladly agrees.

But Yunqing doesn’t realize that this decision will draw her into a calamity.

And the woman in the painting she unexpectedly comes across can step right out of it.

Is she an immortal or a monster?

What kind of calamity will Yunqing fall into?

And what connection does it have to the woman in the painting?

Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you the whole story.
