The Plump Pallas's Cat's Interstellar Adventures

[Affectionate Pallas’s Cat Younger Brother] & [Scheming Snow Leopard Older Brother] Age gap|Size difference|Not-quite-incest Qin Xingle has a condition: skin hunger. After dying suddenly, he transmigrated into a chubby Pallas’s cat, and the condition came with him! Luckily, he transmigrated into a ferocious beast (or so it seemed). He could use his fearsome appearance to randomly scare a fluffy creature, then domineeringly cuddle and rub against it to ease his skin hunger. Even luckier, this was a strange place where ferocious beasts weren’t ferocious at all. Tigers rolled over to show him their bellies, snow leopards offered their tails as scarves, and even the wolf king stretched out its paws for him to step on. The skin hunger he couldn’t cure in his last life was finally being thoroughly taken care of! This place was practically heaven! Then one day, a System appeared in his mind and told him this was an interstellar beastfolk world. Those fluffy creatures were people, not animals, and they were competing in a hunting contest. The whole world had watched him behaving inappropriately. Qin Xingle was utterly shattered. Qin Xingle was the second young master of the Qin family, lost to them years ago. Not long after the contest ended, the Qin family found him and brought him home. He had an exceptional older brother, so exceptional that Qin Xingle could never hope to measure up to him. That brother was cold toward the younger sibling who had just been brought home. It was only natural, and Qin Xingle didn’t think much of it. He just hadn’t expected his skin hunger to get worse after he turned back into a human. One night, he felt so awful he couldn’t stand it anymore and went out for some cold air. At a corridor corner, he nearly collided with his older brother. His brother narrowed his eyes, his gaze settling on the top of Qin Xingle’s head. “Your beast form is a Pallas’s cat?” Qin Xingle’s ears and tail had appeared. Seeing his brother’s slit pupils, he realized his brother wasn’t a Pallas’s cat. So he himself must be an illegitimate child. Yet his brother didn’t get angry. He called a doctor to treat him, arranged for him to attend school, organized a birthday banquet for him, and told their father he would raise Qin Xingle himself. Qin Xingle was well looked after, and his life gradually became more comfortable. Later, Qin Xingle noticed that a lot of people at school looked at him strangely. The top student in the class next door, an upperclassman, an instructor from the military, they all looked him up and down as if they wanted to devour him. Qin Xingle went home and told his brother about it. Qin Xiuyu pressed a hand to the back of his head and gently kneaded it. “Our Lele sure is popular.” Qin Xingle shivered. Then he saw that same look in his brother’s eyes, too. Qin Xingle completed his mission and returned to his original world, resuming the life he had once lived. His condition never went away, but it wasn’t severe enough to make life unbearable. In the third year, one night after work, Qin Xingle found a little kitten with white fur and black markings in an alley. The day after he brought it home, it turned into a person. It turned out it wasn’t a cat, but a snow leopard cub. He had brought his older brother home. His brother had come to find him. Bonus scene: On Qin Xingle’s nineteenth birthday, he got drunk, and his brother took care of him the whole time. His usually stern older brother flicked his nose and called him a drunkard. With his head all muddled, Qin Xingle leaned in and kissed his brother on the chin. The next morning, he remembered nothing. Nothing happened all day, but that evening someone knocked on his door. When he opened it, his brother was standing there. His brother smiled without warmth, stepped inside, and gripped Qin Xingle’s chin. His voice was low. “You kiss someone and don’t take responsibility? What kind of person does that?” Qin Xiuyu leaned in, and Qin Xingle was stunned. His brother was kissing him. His brother liked him. [Reading Guide]: ◆ There are lots of fluffy animal scenes early on, and the characters turn human later. The protagonist is a popular heartthrob, but doesn’t realize it. ◆ The love interest is the older brother, whose beast form is a snow leopard. They are each other’s only one, and both are intensely in love. ◆ Lots of people like the protagonist, and they’re all very possessive (though none are as possessive as his brother). If that bothers you, read with caution. ◆ The younger brother and older brother are not blood relatives. This will be explained later. ◆ Interstellar beastfolk, with lots of author-created worldbuilding. Much of the story’s logic won’t stand up to scrutiny. There are beastfolk and someone who transmigrated after dying suddenly, so naturally there are plenty of other outrageous premises. In short, just enjoy the ride!
