The Omega stood timidly in a corner, too afraid even to look at him.

An aide told him it was His Majesty's arrangement, since this Omega's compatibility with him was as high as 98 percent.

His Majesty was very concerned about the general's personal life.

The general had no choice but to temporarily take in the child, who was more than ten years younger than him.

Gradually, the general realized there was something wrong with the child.

Fortunately, Qin Ruan understood that he was safe now, and Lu Baiyu stopped acting as though he was only fostering him temporarily. Lu Baiyu raised Qin Ruan as his own child and spent the rest of his life teaching him to love himself.

During Qin Ruan's heat, even suppressant injections couldn't ease his discomfort. Unable to sleep, he took his pillow and went to find Lu Baiyu.

Lu Baiyu was helpless, but still welcomed Qin Ruan, who had finally worked up the courage to seek him out.

The child had rarely been so bold. He couldn't be the sort of parent who spoiled the moment.

So, soothed by his pheromones, Qin Ruan buried his face in Lu Baiyu's neck and finally slept peacefully.
