The Game Invaded, But I Just Came Back!

When Yu Zhao was twelve, a truck sent her crashing into another world. She thrived there for ten years, until she suffered a disastrous defeat in a challenge match. She closed and opened her eyes, only to find herself back in her body in her original world.

Her body had been in a vegetative state for ten years, but thankfully, it had been well cared for. Just as Yu Zhao accepted her fate of having to retrace her steps and prepared to start over, the world's consciousness sent a global announcement from above: another world was about to invade in the form of a game!

Either defeat the invaders and elevate the world, or become a colonized world and suffer enslavement.

Could she back down? Of course not!

But before Yu Zhao could put her talents to work in this world-scale war, the released [Game Preview Expansion] left her speechless.

Ah, those magnificent floating buildings, those familiar customs, those races and classes that sounded way too familiar.

Wasn't this the second home where she'd happily spent ten years goofing off?

Day N of the otherworldly game's invasion

Forum:

Player A: Aaaah, help! How do we beat the twin bosses in this instance? I'm almost out of revives!

Player B: Help us first! We spent three months putting together a guide, then formed a party to run the instance, only to find the final boss had changed. Has anyone seen her? Please help and post her stats! (image.jpg) (image.jpg)

Player C: I don't recognize the first two posts, but here's some new information. Someone said before that if your reputation score is high enough, you can buy on credit from the otherworldly merchants. I can confirm from personal experience: if you don't pay it back for three months, you'll be wanted, all your assets will be forcibly wiped out, and you won't even be able to enter instances. Word is, this is because the guildmaster was once swindled by a human who ran off with their money, so now the guild is setting bait and catching people in the act. Damn it, this is the only neutral organization in the otherworld! Which heartless bastard refused to leave the rest of us a way out? They only cared about having a good time themselves!

Looking at the images in the trending thread, Yu Zhao recognized, one after another, the older sister and brother who had raised her, the many friends she'd adventured with, and the poor guildmaster who had lent her a huge sum of money and never got a single coin back.

Yu Zhao: ...

Yu Zhao: I can explain!

It wasn't her fault that she'd just saved enough to pay them back when the enemy killed her!
