How a Tomie Constitution Suits a Beloved by All

At eighteen, Kawakami Izumi awakened the Tomie constitution passed down through his family.

First his parents fought each other bloody over him. Then his unscrupulous direct superior summoned him, only to inexplicably fall in love with him at first sight and waive the evaluation, giving Kawakami Izumi the code name "Sordis" on the spot.

Kawakami Izumi still had a student's air about him, but overnight he became the organization's hottest commodity.

Rumor had it that Sordis was the organization's most phantom-like presence: an evil flower, watered with blood, possessing bewitching beauty and the power to stir the heart.

Everyone racked their brains to make his gaze linger on them for one more second, all just hoping for one more glance of his favor.

Hearing all this, Kawakami Izumi had just one thought:

So beauty really can put food on the table!

It was just that his coworkers resented him as a pretty face who'd gotten promoted on looks alone. Their gazes practically meant to flay him alive, and even his juniors and subordinates were always looking for a chance to catch him in a mistake and tear a piece out of him.

Kawakami Izumi sighed over the terrifying competition at work while admiring his own beauty in the mirror.

It was fine. Beauties like him were always making people jealous.
