Qi Tongwei: Reborn at Six, First I Send Dad to the Army

In his previous life, he knelt before too many people.

He knelt before Liang Lu, Liang Qunfeng, and Chen Yanshi. He knelt from the grounds of Handong University all the way to the provincial public security department, until his knees went numb, until he raised his gun on Guying Ridge.

The gunshot rang out. He didn't die.

He opened his eyes and returned to the year he was six. His mother had just remarried, and his father had just become lame. The most valuable thing in the whole family was a photograph of his grandfather's comrade-in-arms, hidden at the bottom of a trunk.

Chewing on a milk candy, he nudged the lame man chopping wood in the courtyard

“Dad, you should join the army.”

In this life, he would kneel no more.
