Yang Mi's Uncle

Financial whiz Zhou Muhai woke up to find himself in a parallel world, a 65-year-old Shanghai gentleman known as an old-school sophisticate.

His family urged him to enjoy a quiet retirement, but he went and took on a hot potato: helping Yang Mi, a desperate movie star, escape the bind of a high-stakes performance deal.

From then on, the entertainment industry lost an '85-born star who worked herself to the bone, while the world of finance gained a formidable boss, Yang Mi.

He didn't teach her how to act. He taught her how to pull the strings. Drawing on Uncle Ye's wisdom from Blossoms Shanghai, he led her through stock trading, reverse mergers, and IPOs, building a trillion-yuan entertainment empire one step at a time.

Yang Mi said, 'Other people call me Boss Yang, but I know I'll always be his student.'

Uncle Ye said, 'You've played the actress card long enough. From now on, you're the one dealing the cards.'
