Bright Sword: Building Weapons of Mass Destruction Behind the Lines

Modern artisan Lin Fan wakes up to find he has transmigrated into the war-torn world of "Drawing Sword". Seeing the guerrillas armed with outdated weapons, he quietly picks up some wood and scraps of iron.

While others charge across the battlefield, he stays behind, hammering away. While others capture Arisaka Type 38 rifles, he builds a super crossbow with a range of a thousand meters. Li Yunlong slams the table and roars, "I've been fighting wars for half my life, and I've never seen anyone do it like this!"

From "Siege Ram" to "Flying Thunder God," from makeshift steelmaking to test-firing rockets, every weapon he builds changes the tide of battle. The Japanese secret police list him as their top target, yet they can't even find his workshop.

"Engineer Lin, the front line needs support!"

"Just let me finish this spring."

He has never killed an enemy with his own hands, yet the enemy trembles at his name. He stays far from the front lines, yet becomes the entire military region's strongest trump card. This is the story of an artisan who fights the Japanese with technology, and of a transmigrator who finds a place to belong amid the flames of war.

"I'm just a craftsman. It's only a coincidence that my craft can save the country." - Lin Fan
