The Iron-Blooded Peninsula

His name is Chen Xing, a special forces soldier from the future.

In 1938, he transmigrates to Japanese-occupied Korea, with only a group of farmers armed with hoes by his side.

No System, no cheats. He teaches them guerrilla warfare and how to make land mines, and to keep standing and fighting even after firing their last bullet.

In twenty years, he rises from commander of a guerrilla unit in the mountain valleys to the founder of a republic.

In forty years, his country has nuclear weapons, satellites, and crewed lunar missions, carving out an independent path of its own between the United States and the Soviet Union.

In sixty years, his descendants plant their national flag on the moon, leave their footprints on Mars, and respond with calm and goodwill to the first greeting from deep space.

This is the story of a people who fought their way out of the mountains and forests, and spent more than half a century taking their fate into their own hands.

It is also an epic about a small nation that refused to be a pawn.

Our journey is to the stars and the sea. Our answer will be written a century from now.
