Dew Falls on Cangwu as the Winds Rise in Xiling

In the ancient wilderness of Cangwu, the Xiling clan and the Jiuli tribe live across the river from one another. At dawn, dew gathers into frost and cooking smoke curls above the settlements. At dusk, the wind sweeps sand across the land as campfires flicker. Deep in the mulberry grove, she learns to weave hemp, her nimble fingers holding the secret to her tribe's survival. On the hunting grounds, he hones his skill at shooting down the sun, each twang of his bowstring bound to the fate of his people.

The drums of a marriage alliance shatter the peace. Suspicion spreads like weeds, and hatred blazes like wildfire. Hemp and bone collide; woven brocade tangles with arrow feathers. Some swear oaths beneath the moon, while others betray them in the morning mist. Dew falls silently, soaking into blood and tears. The wind rises, carrying love and hatred in its wake. On this wild and blazing land, people struggle between survival and righteousness, seeking their way between destiny and defiance. Every step beats to the pulse of the ancient earth, and every cry echoes beneath the vault of heaven.
