Survival in Prehistoric Times: Lying Flat Again Today

When she wakes up, she finds herself in a primitive age where people live off the land and drink blood. No phones or computers, no hot meals or warm beds, just howling winds, wild beasts on the prowl, and a tribe of people in animal skins with guileless but fierce eyes.

Other people who transmigrate either get a golden finger and dominate their tribe or develop its infrastructure and lead their people to glory. She’d rather laze around and lie flat: if she can mooch a meal, she won’t hunt; if she can hide in a cave, she won’t brave the wind; and if she can talk her way out of something, she won’t lift a finger.

But reality never goes as planned. When she tries to slack off, everyone thinks she’s frail and fusses over her. A simple trap she throws together shocks the whole tribe, and her attempt to roast meat nearly burns down their settlement. Using little bits of modern know-how to handle prehistoric problems, she trades wits with the blunt tribal chief, the mischievous young cave people, and the fiercely protective elders, setting off one ridiculous mishap after another.

In this prehistoric age, where survival is no easy feat, how did her path to lying flat get busier and busier?
