Criminal Investigation Squad Two: A Complete Record of Major Cases

Synopsis of "Criminal Investigation Unit Two: A Complete Record of Major Cases"

A corpse hidden inside a gilded Buddha statue, a livestream turned into a stage for murder, AI algorithms crafting a perfect alibi. Beneath the neon lights of a bustling city, crime evolves at breakneck speed on the wings of technology, while human nature teeters on the edge of desire.

Criminal Investigation Unit Two are the ultimate breakers of darkness: Chen Feng, whose intuition is a sharp blade; Shen Qing, a data expert as inscrutable as an iceberg; Lin Ye, a technical genius; Zhao Ying, their iron-fisted enforcer; and Zhou Zimo, a digital phantom.

From the collusion between faith and capital in "Corpse in the Buddha Statue", to the hunt in virtual space in "Cyber Sacrifice", and the twisted family power play in "Closed-Loop Kidnapping", they unravel more than bizarre murder cases. They expose the ills of an era shaped by the collision of technology and human nature.

Behind every case lurks the shadow of a ghost organization spanning decades: Dark River. It uses algorithms to predict crime and technology to manipulate fate, turning the city into a laboratory for its ambitions.

When the law cannot keep pace with evolving crime and technology sweeps away the boundaries of human nature, Criminal Investigation Unit Two dredge up the truth from a flood of data and protect a glimmer of light in the maze of human nature. The currents run deep, but they are the light that will break the deadlock in this city.
