Willow Lyrics Tell It All: My Song Sings into Your Heart

In the dreamlike splendor of Bianjing, capital of the Northern Song, the gifted but politically frustrated Liu Yong happens upon the singing girl Chongniang amid the bustle of Zuixian Tower. One is a down-on-his-luck poet, proud of his talent and contemptuous of empty fame; the other is a gentle, perceptive young singer, full of hope. Fate quietly draws them together.

Defying convention, Liu Yong falls in love with Chongniang, and they begin a simple, warm life at Liu Ci Workshop. After they marry, the birth of their daughter, Tangtang, brings the little family countless moments of warmth and joy. As new parents, they fumble through the small routines of changing diapers and mixing rice cereal, yet embrace every moment.

The care of their neighbors and the company of their family become part of every detail of their lives. Liu Yong turns the little joys of daily life and the warm bonds between family members into heartfelt lyrics. But can society's prejudice and life's daily grind become a storm that destroys their love? And can Liu Yong's talent find a place to take root amid the ordinary bustle of life?
