Primeval Core

In a universe made up of floating continents and a “Sea of Data,” memories can be encoded and souls downloaded. The protagonist, Ryan, known as the “Man Without Memories,” is a memory cleaner who can only remember the past 24 hours. During a cleanup mission, he accidentally touches a forbidden piece of “mythic code,” awakening an ancient consciousness that has lain dormant. He also becomes the target of two factions: the technological cult “Web of Ten Thousand Laws,” which seeks to unify all consciousness through an ultimate algorithm, and the ancient tradition “Shanhai Secret Archive,” which protects the world’s reality and resists the erosion of data.

To reclaim the past stolen from him and stop the world from being formatted into cold data, Ryan must struggle at the edge of oblivion, carving a bloody path to the truth through the crack between reality and illusion. In the end, he will discover that what he must recover is not only his own memories, but also the source of the tampering that has altered the world.
