Aethergard: Chain of Whispers

In the massive steam-powered city of Kogsworth, class divisions are as cold as steel. The brilliant mechanic Karen lives in Gear City, the lowest part of town, and his only purpose is to protect his younger sister. But when a strange illness called Aether Decay begins draining her life, he is forced to embark on a bloody trial leading to the Tower District in the clouds.

What he has kept hidden is a forbidden talent: the ability to resonate with machines and the mysterious energy known as Aether. It is called “Whisper.” This power is his only hope, but it also marks him as a heretic in the eyes of the city’s iron-fisted rulers.

As he goes from saving one person to defying the world, Karen discovers that his sister’s illness is nothing more than a vast conspiracy to purge the “different.” He must choose: keep hiding, or embrace this cursed power and send the most resolute whisper into this rust-covered world?
