Above the Celestial Court

In the world of Vault Haven, torn apart by the “Great Silence,” the remnants of humanity live on sky islands kept aloft by ancient technology, above a churning sea of poisonous miasma. Kyle, a scavenger from the lower levels, is forced onto a desperate path to save his younger sister, who suffers from the mysterious “Aether Degeneration” and is slowly turning to crystal. His only hope is the legendary “Origin Heart,” said to lie in the capital of the ruling class.

Born with the forbidden power of “Resonance Tuning,” Kyle possesses the only key to saving his sister, but it also makes him the target of two factions: the fanatical “Children of Silence,” who consider him a heretic, and the authoritarian oligarchs of the “United Council,” who want to control his power.

From the crumbling Rust Harbor ruins, through perilous sky routes, and on to the glittering Apex City, Kyle joins forces with a reclusive mechanical genius and a free-spirited ace pilot. Together, they gradually uncover the suffocating truth behind the “Great Silence”: this world is not a home, but a cage.

As doomsday descends once more, destruction and salvation hang on a single choice. Kyle must decide: will he become the lock that reinforces the cage, or sound the final lament of a silent world?
