The Stars in My Brother's Hands

Su Xiao always thought she was her family’s pride, a golden phoenix who had flown out of a remote mountain village. Until her junior year of college, when she found a university admission letter tucked into a corner of the wardrobe at home. One corner had been torn off, but the letter had been carefully kept. It belonged to her older brother, Su Qiang. Only then did she realize that the “bright future” she had taken for granted was a path her brother had paved with the price of dropping out, backbreaking labor at construction sites, and his entire youth. Now that the lies have been exposed and his sacrifices seen, Su Xiao wipes away her tears. This time, she will be his light and help him reclaim the starry sea that should have been his all along.
