I Feed a Million Soldiers with a Farming System

The day my family was stripped of everything and I was exiled to Wolf Valley, a heavy snow fell over the capital.

My former fiancé, the youngest top scholar in the imperial court, submitted a memorial that very night to sever all ties with me, afraid even the slightest taint of treason might rub off on him.

The noblewomen of the capital sighed over my misfortune, yet secretly rejoiced that they had one less rival at last.

From a thousand miles away, they pitied me, saying that a pampered daughter of a general's household like me would freeze or starve to death within three days in that godforsaken salt flat.

They were right.

From the start, I had only three loyal but elderly soldiers and a patch of land where not even grass could grow.

The enemy cavalry's hoofbeats echoed just beyond the valley, and we didn't even have enough rations to last until tomorrow.

Just as I was nearing despair, a ding rang in my mind: [Super Farming System activated.

The land ahead of the Host is classified as 'severely saline-alkaline soil.' Would you like to spend 1 point to improve it?]
