The New Investiture of the Gods: The Legend of King Wu

Introduction to The New Investiture of the Gods

The greatest PUA master in history, King Zhou of Shang, manipulates a fox demon into doing his dirty work and forces a young nobleman to kill his own father, playing the entire dynasty in the palm of his hand. Yet his most perfect “creation” is his sworn enemy, the extraordinarily powerful young nobleman of Xiqi, Ji Fa!

Held hostage in Chaoge, Ji Fa sees through every scheme and counter-scheme. He resists the fox demon's temptations, endures one deadly trap after another, and ultimately returns with the force of a thunderbolt. At the Battle of Muye, he rallies behind the banner of “serving the people” and overturns the laws of Heaven!

And then comes the ultimate twist of the Investiture of the Gods: Jiang Ziya holds up the Investiture List and declares that to join the Heavenly Court, one must meet the standard for “public satisfaction”! Ji Fa, the greatest contributor of all, gives everything up and becomes the brightest North Star in the night sky, protecting the people of Huaxia for all eternity.

This is not like any Investiture of the Gods story you've ever heard. It is the ultimate battle of power, deception, and protection. Watch as true gods are born from the will of the people!
