Dragonflame Strikes: Disbanding the Wolf Fangs from the Start

Five years ago, Qin Feng, captain of the Longyan assault squad, was betrayed by faulty intelligence from his superiors during a top-secret mission. His entire unit was wiped out, and he vanished beneath the stigma of being branded a traitor. Five years later, when the foreign military's most advanced Ghost individual combat system appears on the black market and threatens national security, Qin Feng quietly returns as a good-for-nothing clerk, going undercover at Langya Special Operations Brigade, once the place where he earned his honors. On his first day back, he watches his old unit get slaughtered in an exercise by the opposing force, equipped with experimental foreign gear. Faced with outdated tactics and comrades basking in past glory, Qin Feng rails against their failure to change at an all-army assembly and makes a shocking declaration: “Langya should be disbanded.” His words send shock waves through the entire military. Amid widespread doubt and fury, Qin Feng is given command in a crisis of a pilot unit made up of “problem” elite soldiers: Dark Blade. His goal is not to train another Langya, but to bury the tactical beliefs of the old era with his own hands and create a future-ready, “cell-level” intelligent combat force equipped with cutting-edge domestically developed exoskeletons and AI systems. From grasslands to the deep sea, from counterterrorism in the cities to covert operations abroad, Qin Feng leads Dark Blade to one seemingly impossible victory after another, proving the power of its new tactics. But his true enemies are not only mysterious foreign military companies; they also include the mastermind behind the conspiracy from five years ago. As the domestically developed Dragon Soul armor collides head-on with the West's Oracle mecha in the Pacific, Qin Feng knows this is both a battle to avenge his comrades and an iron tide forging a path toward the republic's military future.
