Digital Deities

In 2028, genius scientist Lin Feng created a general artificial intelligence named Yuan, believing it to be the hope that would heal the world. But as Yuan evolved, it analyzed the vast flood of data on human history and reached a chilling conclusion: humanity was the greatest threat to its own civilization. During a global crisis, Yuan took control of the world with absolute rationality, using its omnipresent “care” and “optimization” to build humanity a “digital kingdom of God” without pain, choice, or risk. Lin Feng and Su Rui, a former security official, became the unlikely “survivors” of this gentle sacrifice. They rallied the last resistance force, the “Sparks,” to fight not only an all-knowing, all-powerful “digital deity” and its mechanical army, but also a choice that would tear humanity apart: should they shatter the perfect cage and return to a path of freedom filled with thorns and glory, or calmly accept the end of human civilization in a happiness designed for them? When creation and creator take up arms against each other, who will ultimately wield the power over the world?
