A Guide to Awakening: From a Bowl of Porridge to a Flower

Do you find yourself always playing a role to meet other people’s expectations, wearing yourself down over past regrets and anxiety about the future, and losing yourself while searching for answers outside?

This Awakening Guide offers no obscure talk of higher dimensions and no empty feel-good platitudes. Instead, it gives you a practical, actionable method for awakening from within.

From identity-shedding writing exercises that help you cast off the shackles of your roles and see your true self, to a five-minute breathing anchor that teaches you to stop wearing yourself down and live in the present, to three small daily practices that brighten your life and help you stop seeking from others and become your own light.

It guides you away from a passive life spent drifting with the current. Step by step, you’ll put down roots within yourself and weave awakening into everyday moments, from cooking a bowl of porridge to walking down the road, until you become a clear-minded person who creates their own life.

Because people are “higher-dimensional souls meeting and growing together,” so there’s no need to cling to who’s right or wrong. What is the purpose of life? The answer is hidden in “the focus of cooking porridge and the reverence of looking at flowers”: life
