Spirit Vein Cybernetics

The protagonist was once a genius cultivator, but the destruction of his Dao foundation left him a cripple. Seeking revenge, he willingly undergoes implantation of the most dangerous experimental technology: the Chaos Dao Core. He discovers that his Dao Core can not only devour the spiritual energy transmitted by the Ascension Protocol, but can also invade and control the artificial spiritual roots of other implant recipients.

Thus, he becomes a cultivation hacker, moving through torrents of data and the shadows of the city. Atop neon-lit skyscrapers, he wages perilous battles of the primordial spirit against corporate-controlled puppet cultivators. Deep in the dark web, he builds his own power, determined to topple this technological altar that feeds on the cultivation of all living beings.
