I, the Doomsday Strategist

A global catastrophe strikes, and everyone faces a hellish start. Everyone is bound to a [Survival System], struggling to stay alive amid zombies and natural disasters.

Only Lin Ye is bound to a unique [World-Ender System].

While everyone else fights tooth and nail to complete their missions, his System's pop-up reads: [Design a “cozy” zombie horde for Shelter No. 3. Difficulty: Casual.]

While heroes race neck and neck up the leaderboard, his job is to tweak the parameters behind the scenes, give the lucky ones a “chance encounter,” and arrange a “surprise” for the unlucky.

He is the apocalypse's sole game designer, a prankster lurking in the shadows, a ghost pulling the strings of the entire world.

But when he personally pushes a kind-hearted girl into a desperate situation and watches her teeter on the brink of death protecting others, Lin Ye hits pause for the first time.

A game that uses all living beings as pieces on a board doesn't seem quite so fun anymore.

Until one day, the System issues a red alert: [Abnormal variable detected. “Player” Lin Ye, you have gone from observer to character in the story.]

Only then does he understand: the real apocalypse has just begun...

I will take on this false apocalypse, with nothing but a mortal's body.
