The Fabric of Emotion

In an age when emotions can be extracted, woven, and worn, “emotion tailor” Ella has the gift of seeing their true colors. She abides by one rule: she only weaves genuine emotions. That is, until the powerful Mr. Soren commissions her to make an unparalleled wedding dress from donor Ryan’s “lifetime of happiness.”

But during the extraction, Ella is shocked to discover that those dazzling memories of “happiness” are carefully edited lies. A darker conspiracy, woven by a giant in emotional technology, gradually comes to light: society is being systematically numbed with false happiness, robbing people of their genuine joy, anger, sorrow, and delight.

When lies become currency, truth becomes the most dangerous weapon. Refusing to join in, Ella teams up with Ryan, who has secrets of his own, and decides to turn their enemies’ methods against them. Into this wedding dress, which will draw the eyes of the entire world, they will weave the pain, anger, and struggle that have been hidden, all the truths no one is allowed to speak.

A war fought on the battlefield of human emotion quietly begins. When the wedding bells ring, this gown carrying the truth will become the ultimate bomb, set to blow apart an entire world of deceit.
