The Retired Savior's Lazy Diary

I was once the savior who saved the world. Now, my only dream is to lie flat and live like a happy slacker.

That was until I casually rescued the hero party said to be “the weakest in history.” Its members included a disgraced prince who couldn’t even lift his shield, an elf saintess with an apocalyptic evil god sealed inside her, and their hamster, which could only squeak.

I planned to pass it off as “newbie’s luck” and enjoy my daily pay in peace. But the evil god awoke inside them, enemy forces arrived at the gates, and even the hamster started talking...

When an apocalyptic crisis struck once more, my three teammates, who couldn’t even afford a single meal, all turned their eyes toward me.

Now here’s the question: should I keep lying flat and watch the world blow up again? Or should I drop my slacker secret identity and tell the world that the legendary man has returned?
