The Vault of Truth

When civilization is formatted with a single click, protecting the last lines of ink becomes humanity's greatest war.

An unknown disaster called “Data Annihilation” hurls human civilization all the way back to the primitive age. Hard drives vanish into nothingness, networks go permanently offline, and even humanity's memories of modern technology fade away. The world plunges into a darkness of understanding, where chaos and despair become the dominant themes.

Amid the ruins, a century-old national library becomes the last beacon of light. Lin Shoumo, a restorer of printed books once forgotten by his era, is now the most vital guardian of human civilization. Alongside a small team of retired war heroes, erudite professors, and a genius girl, he holds fast to this island of knowledge.

They possess the blueprints for reigniting civilization, but also forbidden knowledge capable of destroying the new world. Outside, powerful warlords covet this “Vault of Truth.” Within, the authority of knowledge clashes fiercely with the belief that it should be shared. Should they hoard knowledge and become the gods of a new age? Or spread it far and wide, risking another disaster?

When the last page of an ancient book is turned, humanity will enter a future written by their own hands. Will they repeat the mistakes of the past, or embark on a new beginning?
