The Realm of Reverse Entropy

The Prometheus expedition landed on Zeta, a planet shrouded in a mysterious energy field. There, they discovered that the laws of physics had been completely reversed: shattered cups mended themselves, and dead plants sprang back to life. But this was no miracle. It was a countdown to hell.

Here, survival itself became the deadliest disease. Wounds did not heal; instead, they retraced the process of being inflicted and grew worse with every passing moment. The crew no longer needed food, as their bodies were turning metabolic waste into nourishment. Most terrifying of all, time was cruelly tugging at their lifelines: the oldest crew member was rapidly growing younger, regressing toward childishness and oblivion.

As they struggled to understand this counterclockwise world, they encountered the planet’s native inhabitants, the Regressors. To these beings, whose lives moved from the end toward the beginning, humans were monsters that crawled out of death and continued to rot. Any contact between them was poison to both sides.

With their crewmates gradually “disappearing” and the team falling apart, science officer Aya proposed a wild theory: their only chance to escape lay deep within the origin and end of every Regressor’s life, in the “Womb.”

Captain Li Wei now faces the ultimate choice: lead the crew toward the all-consuming singularity and gamble on a slim chance of getting home, or protect the civilization of this world in reverse and calmly walk toward the “beginning” of his own life alongside the crewmates who choose to stay?

With time’s direction reversed, the line between survival and destruction has never been so blurred.
