The Scarlet Creed

I went undercover at the heart of the enemy and personally interrogated my own comrades. I cracked the Japanese army's top-secret codes and passed on intelligence, all for one belief: "For the dawn, our generation is willing to be kindling." But the handler I trusted most was the traitor known as Old Gun. My faith crumbled in an instant. Former comrades became enemies, and sworn foes became allies. I became an island, struggling to survive in the narrow space between the Nationalists, the Communists, and the Japanese puppet forces. I used every ounce of wit and courage, dancing a deadly dance on the edge of a blade. When I pieced together every clue and found them pointing to my mentor, who had supposedly died long ago, I thought I had uncovered the truth. But I never imagined that the true abyss had only just opened its eyes. When I discovered that the source of every conspiracy was none other than the "Sir" I revered most, where would my faith lead me now? Would I keep burning, or sink into the darkness with it? This is the ultimate test of faith. Before dawn arrives, everyone must make a choice.
