The Lie System: Tell the Truth and I Die

I am a forensic pathologist, and I have spent my life pursuing the truth. Then I gained a System that could see through every lie, but it forced me to become the perfect liar. Rule One: Tell the truth, and your head will split with pain. Rule Two: Tell ten truths, and you will faint on the spot. Rule Three: Tell twenty truths, and you will suffer brain death. At a crime scene, I watched the killer lie right to my face, unable to expose him. All I could do was weave a more elaborate lie and lead him into the trap I had laid. My colleagues call me a “genius of intuition,” and the media dub me an “artist of deception.” Only I know that with every breath, I am gambling with death. I thought I was using lies to protect justice, but gradually I discovered that every case pointed to a vast conspiracy, and I was nothing more than a pawn forced to lie. When the System orders me to deceive the whole world, whose story will my final lie be about?
