Vows Beneath the Snowy Mountain

Against the magnificent backdrop of a snowbound plateau, two couples write a special military love story with loyalty and romance. Rong Ninglei, a decisive and tough-as-nails squad leader of the Snowfield Eagles, finds his icy exterior melting at the graceful dance of Zuo Zuo, a performer with the military region’s political department. Their paths cross through art and duty, and they fall in love. He guards the mountain frontier while she portrays the bond between soldiers and civilians. Through understanding and support, they stand firmly together.

Meanwhile, Yuan Ye, commander of the Snow Eagle Brigade, and Jiang Yuanyuan, a nurse at the Tibet Military Region General Hospital, forge a deep bond during life-and-death rescues. Yuan Ye leads his team into danger, while Jiang Yuanyuan protects lives in her white uniform. Time and again, they entrust their lives to one another in moments of crisis, and their love grows purer with every storm it weathers.

Both couples get engaged in the military camp, but urgent missions soon bring separation and trials. Rong Ninglei leads his team on a reconnaissance mission deep in the borderlands, while Yuan Ye is caught in an avalanche. Zuo Zuo’s waiting and Jiang Yuanyuan’s journey to reach him intertwine in the most moving chapter of military romance. In the end, with the snow-capped mountains as their witness and their comrades by their side, they hold a joint wedding on Army Day, pledging, “Through life and death, together, with no regrets in this life.”

The story portrays the sacrifices and steadfast devotion of soldiers and their families, showing how love and devotion to the country can blend perfectly. It is a romantic ode to the soldiers of the plateau.
