From Egg Shell to Life of Jungle Python Ah Lin

In the early morning of the rainy season in the tropical rainforest, a python egg cracked open in a secret cave of a thousand-year-old banyan tree, and the little python Ah Lin broke out of the egg with curiosity about the world. This is a ball python covered with light gray scales. The brown spots on the scales are like the lines of fallen leaves in the forest, giving him a natural protective color. Under the protection of her mother, Ah Lin and her twelve brothers and sisters huddled in a warm cave and spent the first days of their lives.

As his body grew stronger, Ah Lin began to explore the world outside the cave. The frustration of his first failed hunt, the joy of successfully catching a snail, and the reluctance of being separated from his brother constituted his first experience of growing up. After his mother left, Ah Lin established his own territory near the creek, using rotten dead trees as a stronghold and patiently waiting for prey to appear. The forest is not a smooth road. He has encountered ferocious monitor lizards, witnessed the deadly toxicity of poison dart frogs, and even faced a survival crisis when water sources dried up during the dry season.

In order to adapt to the environment, Ah Lin learns to adjust its activity time according to the seasons, expand its hunting range in the rainy season, and find shady shelters in the dry season. The first molt transformed him, his body grew by nearly one-third, and his scales became smoother and shiny. He mastered climbing skills and tried hunting in trees; he learned to recognize danger signals and relied on his wisdom to escape from the pursuit of ocelots. Each challenge made his survival skills more proficient. From hunting insects to capturing small mammals, Ah Lin's hunting ability continued to improve.
