My Heart, My Way

Qingya Mountain took in a scholar seeking refuge, while Yunqi Cliff trapped a sword cultivator who couldn't stand losing.

One spent three years sweeping fallen leaves at a Taoist temple before learning that “healing the sick and saving lives is also cultivation.” The other spent half a year listening to the wind on a sheer cliff before realizing that “a steady heart matters more than a swift sword.”

They both once thought cultivation meant climbing ever higher. Later, they understood: keeping calm amid daily necessities and finding another way when faced with an obstacle is already a path to enlightenment.
