After Transmigrating into a Book

Overworked corporate drone Lin Wan died suddenly from working overtime and transmigrated into the CEO novel The Pampered Darling of Young Master Fu, becoming the personal housekeeper to the villain, Fu Jingchuan. In the original story, she tried to win Fu Jingchuan’s favor and was used as a human shield, only to die at the hands of his enemies. Lin Wan decided to stop trying: she refused to make fancy breakfasts and cooked Fu Jingchuan terrible food instead; she refused to stay late with him, saying, “I need my beauty sleep”; and when Fu Jingchuan got angry, she shot back, “You’re yelling at me? Then I’m leaving.” Unexpectedly, Fu Jingchuan was drawn to her sincerity. He ate the charred chicken wings she made and said, “This is the first time anyone’s put their heart into cooking for me.” He stayed up waiting for her to come home and said, “I can’t sleep when you’re not here.” When Xia Qianxue framed her, he stood up for her and said, “She’s my bottom line.” In the end, by refusing to try, Lin Wan taught Fu Jingchuan how to love, and together they rewrote their tragic ending.
