The Empress of the Ninth Heaven

In the Great Chu dynasty, Changsun Qing, the legitimate daughter of the Marquis of Dingbei, is framed by her stepmother and demoted to menial labor. By chance, she activates the Cuju Tactics System, which calculates the best course of play in real time during matches. To save an old subordinate who has been wrongfully imprisoned, she disguises herself as a man and enters the royal cuju tournament. With phenomenal techniques such as "Lone Rider Breaks the Formation" and "Turning Heel, Falling Star," she crushes princes and the retainers of powerful ministers alike, then seals the final with a strike called "Plucking the Moon from the Ninth Heaven." When her identity is exposed, she turns the tables and reveals her stepmother's scheme to the public. Taking advantage of the emperor's ambitions to reform cuju, she rises from a condemned woman to head of the Cuju Administration. At last, she uses tactics to intimidate enemy nations during a military cuju demonstration on the frontier, and is personally named empress by the late emperor's secret decree. In silver cuju boots, she strides into the Golden Throne Hall and face-slaps everyone who ever mistreated her.
