The Collapse of Order: The Moss Age

In the cyberpunk megacity of Shanghe, where the deadly “spore fog” has spread, humanity’s living space has shrunk to the upper-level buildings of the Sky Dome District, equipped with expensive air-purification systems. The abandoned lower city, the Sunken District, has become a desolate forbidden zone overrun by spore fog and mutated plants, a dump and place of exile in the eyes of the upper class. Noah, a scavenger in the Sunken District, is an insignificant man struggling to survive in the gaps between neon lights and shadows. He has long since grown used to this suffocating existence. Then one day, he accidentally touches a strange, glowing moss called “Heartwhisper Moss.” In the instant their minds connect, he not only hears the moss’s “voice,” but also glimpses the city’s unknown origins and its concealed, brutal truth through the memories of ancient plants. This discovery makes him the top target of Genesis Technology, the city’s rulers. The megacorporation has been secretly capturing and even eliminating “symbiotes” like Noah, who can communicate with moss. It aims to monopolize the only air-purification technology and maintain its absolute control over Shanghe. A flight for survival and freedom begins. Noah must stay alive while facing Genesis Technology’s cyborg assassins and its ubiquitous surveillance network. He joins forces with other awakened symbiotes and the people oppressed at the bottom of society, using the unique power granted by Heartwhisper Moss to challenge this seemingly invincible cyber empire. His goal is not merely to survive, but to win back the right to breathe freely for everyone in the Sunken District and let life’s greenery bloom again beneath this neon wasteland.
