My Five-Star Doomsday Shelter

As frozen ash consumes the last warmth of civilization, survivors struggle through the despair of minus fifty degrees, willing to spend their last strength for a mouthful of moldy rations. Meanwhile, Ling Yi has just woken from the brink of freezing to death. Wearing a silk robe in a temperature-controlled swimming pool, he's deciding what's on the menu tonight: A5 wagyu teppanyaki, or perhaps some molecular cuisine freshly unlocked in the fully automated gourmet kitchen. After accidentally activating Eden One, an apocalypse pleasure palace built by a super-rich man from the old world, Ling Yi transforms from a scavenger struggling to survive into the wasteland's one and only “god-tier supplier.” Outside lies an icy age overrun by monsters and marked by the collapse of order. Inside is a five-star home of luxury, where spring lasts all year. When the strongest Valkyrie is willing to pledge her loyalty just to take a hot shower, and the shrewdest faction leader offers up all his intelligence for a taste of real vegetable salad, Ling Yi realizes that conquering the world doesn't necessarily take guns and bullets. Sometimes, a bar of handmade soap and a cup of freshly ground coffee are enough to make the entire wasteland bow down. He is the apocalypse's “land king,” the sole maker of the rules. Welcome to my five-star shel-ter. Want to move in? First, show me what you have that could make me interested.
