My Drone Legion

When the rampaging vegetation known as the “Green Tide” devours the steel metropolis, the only thing still faithfully carrying out its final command amid civilization’s tombstones is an out-of-control army of machines: “Eliminate all ecological pollutants.” And humanity is at the top of the list. In this desperate wasteland, part jungle and part steel graveyard, Ling Xiao, formerly an architect of the Skynet defense system, unexpectedly activates a military-grade Drone Swarm Command Terminal. He has no need to fight hand to hand and disdains gun battles. He is the absolute ruler hidden behind the scenes, the sole player in the cloud above. While other survivors flee for their lives to escape a “Gardener” cutting machine, Ling Xiao’s miniature reconnaissance drones have already mapped the city’s resources in three dimensions. While the strongest warriors congratulate themselves for taking down a robot outpost, Ling Xiao’s drone army has used “protocol override” to format the outpost and its entire production line into his own forces. Dismantle, collect, build, assimilate! His army passes like a swarm of locusts. Everywhere it goes, ruins become bases and enemies become resources. At last, high above the ground, an airborne fortress pieced together from billions of scraps of metal, the Leviathan, slowly opens its “eyes.” The entire world is nothing more than a real-time strategy game for Ling Xiao alone. His next command is to teach this mad wasteland to fear the sky once more.
