A Thousand Crates of Supplies in the Famine Years

During a stormy night, an emergency logistics warehouse undergoes a sudden transformation. Three hundred and twenty-seven shipping containers packed with supplies vanish into a rift in space and time amid a blinding blue light. When logistics manager Lin Xiaoman wakes from unconsciousness, she finds herself in an ancient valley overgrown with weeds. The modern emergency supplies worth tens of millions are her only means of survival in this unfamiliar dynasty.

In the seventh year of Yuanhe under the Great Sheng Dynasty, Boshan County in Qingzhou is suffering through a famine unseen in a century. Relentless floods and droughts have left the land barren, disease is spreading among the starving, and the sight of countless people dead from hunger leaves Lin Xiaoman, newly transmigrated, shaken to the core. Facing the villagers' suspicion and fear, she cautiously takes out compressed biscuits and emergency medicine. Using modern medical knowledge, she saves the first critically ill child and earns herself a chance to establish a foothold.

The containers hidden in the valley become Lin Xiaoman's secret weapon. By day, she poses as an “outsider who knows medicine”; by night, she quietly moves supplies. Snow-white rice eases the famine, broad-spectrum antibiotics curb the epidemic, improved seeds sprout in the barren soil, and a hand-operated pump brings in life-saving river water. When the villagers harvest their first crop using the farming tools she brought, life finally returns to the once-desolate village.

But her good deeds soon bring danger. Greedy landlords covet her “immortal treasures” and force their way into the village with their retainers. Ignorant local gentry denounce her disinfection and disease-prevention measures as “sorcery” and incite the villagers to drive her out. Even the county authorities are suspicious of this woman who can suddenly produce huge quantities of grain.
